Asphalt Superintendent

Job Description

The Asphalt Superintendent is responsible for directing, supervising, organizing, planning, and executing in a safe manner all tasks, facets and components pertinent to the asphalt activities on the job site, while meeting deadlines, and specified requirements of projects.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years working with Asphalt in the Road Construction Industry
• Working knowledge of Asphalt and related materials
• Working knowledge of methods, techniques and equipment used in Asphalt
• Minimum five (5) years running, or supervising crews
• Moderately strong computer skills, especially in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract (less than three convictions & less than 7 demerits)

Physical Requirements

• Must have the physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete the assigned duties
